I’ve been married to my wife Mary Lou for more than 50 years. We have two kids and two grandkids.
I own a lawn and irrigation business with my son. I am a very active and outdoorsy person. When I got sick in 2015, I could barely do any of that.
I was diagnosed with liver cancer. It was a big shock. I was listed for a liver transplanted and waited for 15 months before receiving my transplant.
Meeting my donor’s mom and her family was a highlight of my life. They are part of our family know.
I am thankful for the gift of life, for the second chance of life. It’s a special gift and I don’t know that there are words to tell you how thankful I really am.
