Maggie Pierce

My wife Maggie passed away suddenly on August 8, 2021.

Maggie was a selfless, genuine person who always made sure that everyone came before her. She worked as a dental lab and dental assistant before we were married and then she became a stay at home mom and she was the very best.

After our third child was born she developed her own business; Maggie’s Memory Bears where she took a loved one’s clothes and made a Teddy Bear out of the material. She made over 5000 of them in her 18 years. She cared about what she did and felt so good about helping others heal.

I believe that her organ donation was just a final act of her life of selflessness.

After she passed away, I set some specific goals to help me get through the tragedy. One of those goals was to find ways to honor her life. So having her recognized for what she did in life as well as death is important to me.

I think her giving spirit should be honored and remembered.
