Share Your Donor’s Legacy for Donate Life Month

April is National Donate Life Month. This year’s theme uses trees as a symbol of life and connection. Just like trees grow and support each other in a forest, donation connects people – donors, recipients, and their families. Like a tree that grows and stands for generations, a donor’s gift leaves a lasting legacy of hope and life.

Live On Nebraska invites you to share about your donor’s legacy for Donate Life Month. Complete the short form below to have your donor featured on our social media accounts in April. Submissions are welcome from donor family members, recipients, and other loved ones of donors. Please include how their donation contributes to their legacy, as shown in the example below:

My brother’s legacy is adventure. He traveled across the United States, always looking for the next mountain to climb or trail to explore. He felt most at peace in a tent, sleeping under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of nature. Knowing that his tissue donation will help give someone else the opportunity to adventure and experience the things they love fills me with pride.
