Donate Life License Plates

Donate Life license plates are a fantastic way to show your support for organ, tissue and eye donation.

Whether you’re a member of a donor family, a recipient, living donor, or proud registered donor, you can help spread the word about the importance of donation through these custom-desgined plates.

How to Order a License Plate

License plates are available to order online or at your local DMV.

Your plates will be delivered to your county treasurer office approximately four weeks after being ordered. You can return your current plates and registration to the office any time after the plates are received for issuance of a new registration, decals, and the plates, or you can wait until your registration is due for renewal.

Cost

• Alpha/numeric plates: $5
• Custom message plates: $40

All proceeds from the sale of these plates will go toward donation education and awareness initiatives in Nebraska.
