2022 Rally for Life & Celebration of Heroes

As a recent donor family member, we invite you to celebrate your loved one’s gift of life at the 2022 Rally for Life 5K Run/Walk, followed by our annual Celebration of Heroes.

The Rally for Life begins at 9:30 A.M (packet pick-up opens at 8:30 A.M.). The Celebration of Heroes will begin following the conclusion of the Rally for Life, at approximately 12:00 P.M.

What is the Rally for Life 5K Run/Walk?

The Rally for Life is a casual, family-friendly 5K run/walk event to support organ, tissue and eye donation. Join forces with donor families, recipients, living donors and donation supporters as we honor our donor heroes and rally to make a difference for the 100,000 Americans in need of a lifesaving transplant.

You may participate in the Rally for Life as an individual or gather your family and friends and form a team.

Registration for the Rally for Life includes an event t-shirt, kids activities in the Werner Park Family Fun Zone, family-friendly entertainment and post-run/walk snacks. As a donor family member from 2019-2022, you are invited to participate in the 2022 Rally for Life for free.

What is the Celebration of Heroes?

The Celebration of Heroes is a program that honors recent organ, tissue and eye donors who have given the gift of life through Live On Nebraska. Donors from 2019-2022 will be recognized as part of this year’s presentation. The Celebration will include testimonies from recipients who have been saved and healed by the gift of donation. There is no cost to attend the Celebration of Heroes.

Registration

The deadline to register and have a loved one recognized during the events has now closed. However, you may still register for the Rally for Life 5K (use promo code Hero22 for free registration) or attend the Celebration of Heroes without registering.

If you missed the deadline, we can add your loved one to the recap video that will be shared following the event. Please email us with the name and a photo of your loved one to include in the recap video.
